REPORT: CTU President Karen Lewis considering mayoral run

Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis may be looking to take Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s spot.

The Suntimes is reporting that Lewis says she is sick of Mayor Emanuel– and no one else is stepping up to the plate.

Lewis says she is “seriously thinking” about running against him in the next election. She denied rumors that she has met with election lawyers about campaigning.

Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle is still not saying whether or not she will run for mayor
