Two men are accused of handcuffing and beating a 15-year-old boy while holding him captive in a basement for a week.

It happened in the basement of a business in the Albany Park neighborhood… where the 15-year-old boy was handcuffed to a table saw and beaten for several days.

The boys father Jose Quilabaqui and godfather Carlos Quizhpi have both been charged with single felony counts of kidnapping.

The two men were taken into custody Wednesday afternoon. They were charged on Thursday and are scheduled to appear in bond court today.

The boy told authorities he escaped the basement of the Albany Park business on Monday… after a third man – a construction worker – removed screws to the back door where he was being kept.

One would hope that these animals will be remanded by the judge hearing this case. They sould be goven the full sentenance, keep away from this child. I truly hope that this is done, what is a matter for these devils?

    @ pav sterry~
You’re right. According to family members the kid was heading down a bad path. Junior was associating with the “worst elements of the street” tanking at school and had stolen from family members. I don’t know if this was cultural or just strict parenting but I have some sympathy for the adults. Unfortunately the Chicago legal system will charge the dad and god-father more harshly than Gang-bangers.

I don’t condone the adult’s action but I have sympathy for them in their efforts to save the young man from the streets. If more parents followed the Bible’s principle of taking care of our families there would be less troubled young ones turning to gangs.

The bible is not the answer, people need to stop shoving that crap down our throats, the bible has killed just as many if not more people then the gangs ever have.

Interolerance of the Bible is the crap that needs to stop being shoved down the throats of believers. smh. It’s because of the pride of non-believers that the world is in shambles. We’ll see how much pride you’ll have come Judgment Day. smh
