15-year-old dead, another teen injured in a shooting on far South Side

One teenager is dead and another is injured after a shooting on Chicago’s far South Side.

The two boys were standing on the corner of 109th and Perry when someone got out of a car and opened fire last night.

The 15 year-old boy was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

A 16 year-old boy is hospitalized. His condition is unknown.

No arrests have been made.

    Parents, school might be out but there is a need to enforce curfew. Yes, shootings happen at any time of the day but once it gets dark there’s more trouble in those streets than you know.

    The youth of today with incompetent parents and gangs who take more interest in them than their own parents. Why is it some families only see each other while serving time and the entire family finds that acceptable?
