* The Cubs, winners of three consecutive games, have not won four straight games since July 6-9, 2013.

* The Marlins have punched out double-digit hits in three consecutive road games for just the fourth time in the last four seasons.The last time the Marlins had 10+ hits in four straight road games was August 24-27, 2010.

* The Cubs are currently hitting .194 (118/608) with two outs this season. Since 1974, no other team has hit below .200 with two outs for an entire season.

* Giancarlo Stanton has reached base multiple times (via hit, walk or HBP) in each of the last five road games he has started.

* Cubs leadoff man Emilio Bonifacio is one of just five players in history that have stolen at least 100 bases with the Marlins.
