We’ll start out the day wet, but look for improving conditions this afternoon.

Showers are likely through the morning commute, but the rainfall will be light with up to a quarter inch totals possible.

Drier weather is expected this afternoon with mostly cloudy skies and cooler temps. Inland temperatures are expected to stay in the upper 60s while a breezy east/northeast wind will keep lakeside locations cooler.

Decreasing clouds tonight will lead to mostly sunny skies Thursday.

Highs in the low to mid-70s are expected inland with low 60s once again near the lake. Friday should bring another good dose of sunshine with warmer temperatures.

While lakeside temperatures top out in the upper 60s inland highs are forecast to reach the mid to upper 70s.
