William Beavers released from prison

Former Chicago alderman and Cook County Commissioner William Beavers has been released from prison.
Beavers was sentenced to six months in federal prison after being convicted last March for tax evasion for failing to report campaign money as income.
He reported to a Federal Prison in Minnesota on December 2nd.
According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons web site,  Beavers was released from prison yesterday.
He is appealing his conviction and had asked to stay out of prison while his appeal was considered.

    Beavers is out and I give him 1 years time, before he is running again for office. And the people of Chicago/Crook County will vote him right back in. Shame

    One time when I needed help I went to Mr Beavers campaign office located on 79th St.and Mr. Beavers himself came out of his office and talked to me,he and everyone in the office were very polite and helpful,he helped me in my time of need and that is what I will always remember and be very grateful for.
