* Since 2011, the Padres are averaging an MLB-low 3.00 runs per game while hitting just .231 (28th in MLB) in interleague play.

* The White Sox have allowed fewer than 10 hits in each of their last eight games – the longest active streak in the majors.

* The Padres have scored at least four runs and recorded double-digit hits in five consecutive road games – the longest such streak in the majors this season.

* Conor Gillaspie has recorded 18 RBI this season – tied (with Jackie Bradley Jr.) for the most RBI by any player who has not hit a home run this season.

* Over the last two games, Tommy Medica has become just the third National League player this season (also Justin Upton and Adrian Gonzalez) to record back-to-back games with at least three hits and a home run.
