Illinois Governor Pat Quinn plans to sign a bill that extends the state law against using an electronic device to lure a child into sex.

It specifically prohibits electronic requests to children for photos of their sex organs.

This bill was drafted after a Woodstock police officer got to keep his job after he had been sexual text messages to a 12 year old girl.

The officer remained on the force and wasn’t criminally charged after he asked the girl to “Send me some sexy pictures!”

The Chicago Tribune first reported that Woodstock suspended the officer for 30 days that he could take one at a time, within a year.

That officer still has his job now.
