An autopsy of a man who died after being tasered by police two weeks ago  is so far inconclusive.

An officer used the taser on 23-year-old Dominique Franklin Jr as he tried to arrest him for allegedly committing a theft in the Old Town neighborhood about two weeks ago.

Witnesses say Franklin tried to run away. They claim he fell against a light pole when the officer tased him.

An autopsy results released today said the cause of death is “pending further studies.”
