32 people were injured when the speeding train overran its bumper and climbed an escalator before coming to rest.

The Sun-Times reports, another CTA operator admitted she fell asleep at the controls of a Red Line train in February of last year and missed a stop at the Garfield station before she woke up; she was given a one-day suspension.

The CTA says such incidents are very isolated.
