If they know the person is guilty, can the Chicago Police just handle this themselves, so the taxpayers don't have to pay for the killer, 24/7 for the next 35 years?

How does Illinois get back the death penalty?? I don't want to read about what 'problems' or 'issues' drove this piece of garbage to kill an innocent 3 year old…WHERE IS THE DEATH PENALTY???

My heart goes out to the little girl who loss her life. The Bible speaks of the time we are living in as the last days where incidents such as this are common. We can look forward to the time when all such as will be a thing of the past.
