The Beagle Freedom Project saved nine beagles from their life of laboratory testing at a Nevada facility May 6. It released a video on YouTube of the dogs experiencing loving care and running around outside for the first time, which has garnered more than 500,000 views since it was posted May 8.

Beagles are the most popular breed of dog to be used in research laboratories, according to the Beagle Freedom Project. The organization, started in 2010, aims to rescue these dogs and find homes for them.
