Guns, drugs found in building with daycare center

Police found guns and narcotics Friday in a building that has a daycare center.

Lee, KeithKeith Lee, 52, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and possession of and manufacturing or delivering cannabis.

Chicago Police had set up surveillance in front of his residence in the 1600 block of North Monitor Avenue and soon witnessed a transaction between Lee and another male. Officers stopped Lee and took him into custody.

Police executed a search warrant for the building and found two guns, about 1,360 grams of cannabis, a scale, narcotics packaging and about $2,700.

Lee is a convicted felon and admitted he is in a gang. He was held instead of posting $200,000 bail.
