Thousands run and walk in 17th annual Komen event

This Mother’s Day saw the 17th annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure along Chicago’s lakefront.

More than 10,000 runners and walkers took part in the race that started in Grant Park.

They were there to raise money to help fund research in the on-going battle against breast cancer.

    It is encouraging to see people come together for a cause.Who hasn't been touched in some form by cancer.The only absolute cure for all sickness is the wonderful Bible promise that God will end all sickness and death forever in the near future.
