More than a thousand feet in the air on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Center lies Chicago’s newest tourist attraction, which may just put your nerves on edge.

It’s called TILT — it’s an eight person glass enclosure which promises a unique look at the Mag Mile, if you can stomach it.

Local leaders were treated to TILT’s inaugural ride Thursday afternoon They were pushed out on a 30-degree angle away from the building with beautiful unobstructed views.

Rides were only 30 seconds, but once the multimillion dollar attraction opens to visitors this weekend the ride will be over a minute at five bucks a pop.

TILT opens Saturday.

It is expected to help push Chicago’s visitor totals to 55 million in the next few years..
