A McHenry County judge sentenced a man accused of raping women he met on Craigslist to 36 years in prison.

Charles Oliver was convicted of sexually assaulting a 22-year-old woman two years ago in his Woodstock home.

He also pleaded guilty to attacking a second woman he’d met on Craigslist, and paid for sex.

In exchange for his guilty plea, prosecutors dropped charges against Oliver in rape cases involving six other women.

So this creep rapes a total of 8 women, but becauee he admitted to two of them, they drop the charges on six. INJUSTICE…..he needs to be charged and sentenced for all of them. That is what’s wrong with our judicial system

Where is the death penalty? Does this idiot serve ANY purpose to keep him alive? Save the state some $$$ – execute all of these 'no purpose' idiots within 30-60 days of being found guilty .Maybe – just maybe there will be some 'thought' before crimes are committed…and put theses executions on TV – people watch The Walking Dead, etc. so what difference does it make? And make all – yes all – these teens that have committed crimes – WATCH THE EXECUTIONS ON TV!

As long as Democrats are in power the Death Penalty will remain on the shelf.
They are more concerned about the quality of life afforded to the guilty than the rights of those who have been violated.

I dont wish death upon anyone, but I do believe he should be punished for ALL crimes that he committed. He should not have been acquitted of 6 rapes when they clearly know he did it. So if he’s alive in 36 years mind you he only has to serve 80% ..hell be well enough to rape again..whats the point..ALL rapists, murderers, molestors, child abusers should be sentenced to life. Point blank period..we are not teaching them a lesson if we lock them up and release them some years later…
