Former Illinois State Representative Keith Farnham is now forbidden from using his own patio.

The Elgin Democrat is awaiting trial for trading child pornography, and he is under home confinement.

But, Farnham’s condo and a neighbor’s condo share a common area — the area where Farnham’s patio is. The neighbor has a small child.

So a federal judge says Farnham cannot use the patio because it could put the child in danger.
