Forecast: Warmest temps of year on way; High – 84

The warmest weather of 2014 is on the way.  Partly sunny skies and breezy south winds will push temperatures into the low to mid-80s this afternoon.  We’ll also notice an increase in humidity as well.

Late this evening we’ll introduce the chance for a few showers and thunderstorms.

Overnight storms will become likely and there is the potential for strong to severe thunderstorms.

Overnight lows are expected to fall into the low to mid-60s.

Showers and storms will continue to be likely as we start the day Friday, but the chance for rain tapers as the day continues.

It will continue to be breezy Friday with cooler temperatures.  Highs are forecast to reach the mid-70s.

Saturday should be cooler and drier.  Under partly cloudy skies, highs should reach the lower 70s.
