Cubs/Sox Game Notes For Thursday

stats_logo_400x225* The White Sox have limited the Cubs to fewer than five hits in each of their three meetings this week.

* Last night marked the eighth time that Paul Konerko has driven in at least three runs against the Cubs in interleague play.

* The White Sox have recorded five extra-base hits in back-to-back games against the Cubs – something they have done just one other time since the beginning of last season.

*White Sox relievers have not allowed a single run over their last 20.1 innings pitched.

* Scott Carroll is one of just four American League pitchers since 2012 to pitch at least six innings and allow fewer than two earned runs in each of his first two career games.
