Blackhawks fans are gearing up for the first game of the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

They started showing up hours before the puck was dropped…

Hawks fans Bianca Perez and Josh Bellock “You can tell we are excited today was a very very long day at work.”

Friday’s second round game falls on a special day for Kyle Algrim– who hopes to celebrate a Hawks win with his seventh birthday

“I can’t explain how excited i am.”

His dad surprised him and his brother with tickets just a few hours before game time.

Standing in their way to the cup of course is the Wild who were represented here in Chicago and being the unbiased journalist that I am i had to get a wild fans opinion on the game.

Well maybe I’m a little biased when it comes to the Blackhawks.

As game time approached-there wasn’t a ticket to be had, the Hawks and wild were ready to throw down– the fans however are keeping it Minnesota nice at least for now.

“All I want is seven games, good luck you too nahhh it’ll go five  it will go five and the hawks will win.  Well see…”
