Semi strikes bridge; Metra trains delayed

Three Metra trains are stopped on the BNSF line after a semi struck a bridge at Kedzie and 22nd St.

The Metra sent an advisory saying, “Trains traveling to Chicago and Aurora will be stopped between Cicero and Western Avenues due to track obstruction.”

The bridge needs to be inspected to confirm it is safe, a Metra spokesperson said.
