Community groups, hospitals feel impact of city’s gun violence

A violent weekend in Chicago has left a ripple effect throughout the community.

From the staff at trauma centers across the city to grassroots organizations, gun violence has far reaching impacts.

Doctors and staff at the University of Chicago Comers Children’s Hospital were especially busy last weekend dealing with the children and teens shot.

Additionally, the Black Star Project met Tuesday night at the Metropolitan Apostolic Church in Bronzeville.
