Eight people were shot in less than seven hours across Chicago.

The youngest victim was a 14-year-old boy, shot near 70th and Maplewood, in the Marquette Park neighborhood.

It happened around 6:30 Tuesday night.

Police say that shooting grew out of an ongoing gang conflict.

In another incident, a 23-year-old man was shot inside of a car in the Logan Square neighborhood on West Armitage, around four in the afternoon.

A 56-year-old man was shot on this street, in the 1800 block of South Central Park Avenue.

He’s in stable condition.

No suspects are in custody for any of the shootings.
