NASA’s #GlobalSelfie Project

On Earth Day, NASA is encouraging people to post selfies to social media. They want to use them to create a  mosaic image of the earth. Use the hashtag #GlobalSelfie when you post to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ or Flickr, and NASA will grab the photos. They plan on releaing the mosaic and a video of all the photos in May.

The official app for The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Ill., MortonArb just came out this spring. Check out the tours ahead of your visit, and use the app’s map feature to get around. Existing members can also use the MortonArb App as a virtual membership card.
