users urged to resets passwords over Heartbleed bug

A cyber-security scare has impacted a portion of people who signed up for an insurance plan on healthcare-dot-gov.

White House officials said there is no immediate threat to users.

However, passwords have been reset for all users. Users were also alerted to create new passwords.

According to experts, the internet security flaw is linked to a virus called ‘Heartbleed’.

The virus can put people’s personal information at risk, including e-mails and financial details.

Other popular websites have re-evaluated and revamped their security procedures because of the vulnerability.
