Hundreds of runners gathered on Chicago’s lakefront Saturday morning to honor the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.

Runners wore blue and yellow – right down to their shoelaces – to show support for the city of Boston and its running community. One year ago this week, bombs went off at the finish line of the Boston Marathon killing three people and injuring hundreds of others.

Some proceeds from Saturday’s race went to the One Fund to support the victims.
