We’re set for a more seasonable Thursday.

Partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies will slow our warm up a bit, but southwest winds are still expected to push temperatures into the upper 50s, close to the average high of 60 degrees.

As a cold front moves through the region tonight there’s a slight chance for a few showers, mainly south and southeast of downtown Chicago.  Mainly cloudy skies will stick around as temps fall into upper 30s overnight.

Friday will bring filtered sunshine and cooler conditions.

Temperatures inland are forecast to reach the mid-50s, but a northeast breeze will keep temps in the mid-40s along the lakefront.
