The work week is starting with full service restored to the CTA’s Blue Line.

Sunday, work crews completed their repairs to the O’Hare terminal where an eight-car train plowed through its bumper and up an escalator last Monday morning.

Riders had to spend a week taking shuttle buses from Rosemont to the airport.

But everything is now back to normal.

The operator of the train admitted she fell asleep at the controls.

Her union blames a heavy work schedule.

But the CTA says she had 18 hours off, prior to her shift.
