Snowden says NSA Spied on Chinese Telecoms Giant

Former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden revealed documents showing the u-s secretly spied on a Chinese telecoms company.

It’s the largest telecoms firm in the world.

According to the New York Times the U.S. government suspected the firm was collaborating with Chinese government. And snowden says the NSA wanted to access the company’s clients.

American officials say the NSA spying is for national security purposes only.
