Driver pinned inside car after crash in West Garfield Park

Police are investigating a car crash that injured four people in West Garfield Park.

It happened just before 2 a.m. Sunday, near Madison Street and Kostner Avenue.

Police said an SUV, drove through a red light and hit another car, pushing it into the sidewalk.

Crews had to rescue one person who was pinned inside that second car.

Three people were taken to the hospital.

The driver of the SUV was cited for failing to stop at a stop light.
