Woman killed in Naperville apartment fire

A woman was killed in an apartment fire in Naperville.

Firefighters were called to the 100 block of Douglas Avenue at 11:30 p.m. Thursday for a fire at a three-story apartment building.

Firefighters found a 39-year-old woman in a second floor apartment unit. That’s where the fire started.

The woman was not able to be revived.

The damage is estimated to be about $100,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No firefighters were injured.
