More snow will melt today as the mildest conditions over the next week are expected.

A mixture of clouds and sunshine along with breezy southwest/west winds will push temperatures into the low 50s in many locations. Areas well south of the city could reach the mid to upper 50s.

Our skies should clear tonight as colder air moves into the region.

Overnight lows are expected to fall into the 20s.

We’ll stay chilly on a mostly cloudy Saturday with highs only in the low 40s.

Another cold front may lead to some light snow Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Accumulations are expected to be below an inch far north and only a few tenths closer to Chicago.  Highs Sunday are only forecast to reach the mid-20s.
