What a difference a day makes.

Area temperatures will remain below average, but Thursday will bring a mix of sun and clouds and with increasing southwest winds highs should reach the upper 30s.

Our skies should be mostly clear tonight while southwest winds keep temps from dropping much, with lows in the mid to lower 30s.

The mild overnight conditions should set things up for a warmer Friday.

More of Wednesday’s snow will melt on Friday.

Under partly cloudy skies temperatures are expected to reach the upper 40s.

A cool down will come in time for the weekend.
