Man seriously injured after falling onto green line train tracks

A 54-year-old man is seriously injured after falling onto the train tracks at a green line stop overnight.

Authorities say the man was drunk when he fell at the 35th street station in Bronzeville. He is hospitalized in stable condition.

The CTA briefly suspended green line service between Roosevelt and Garfield but services resumed around 9:30 last night.
