Former Illinois congressman Mel Reynolds spoke out on the trouble he’s faced in Zimbabwe.
Reynolds was deported after paying a $100 fine for being in the country on an expired visa.
The former congressman said he’s concerned about what’s going on in Zimbabwe.
He says he is a target of the government and it was the government who hit him with pornography charges. Those charges were dismissed on a technicality.
Reynolds told us he is hiding out in South Africa.
He says he doesn’t want to reveal where he is because he says the Zimbabwe Government does not want him to reveal information he has about its relationship with American businessmen.
