Blake Sloane from Rebuilding Exchange shows Ryan how to transform an antique telephone chair in this 2 part project. First he cleans up the wood base, then he reupholsters the seat cushion using an old coffee bag.

  • Staple gun

  • Utility Knife


  1. Take seat off
  2. Apply wax with steel wool
  3. Buff with steel wool
  4. Buff with rag
  5. Cut batting
  6. Staple batting
  7. Cut and staple burlap
  8. Put cushion back onto seat
