2 injured in South Side fire

Two people are injured in a fire that damaged three homes on the city’s South Side.

It happened just after 4 a.m. Sunday morning at a home in the 9000 block of North Marshfield.

The fire spread to two nearby homes. Two people were taken to the hospital and one of them is in critical condition.

The cause of the fire isn’t known.
