Family, Hollywood colleagues pay respects at private funeral for Harold Ramis

Colleagues from Chicago and Hollywood alike turned out today to mourn Harold Ramis, at a private funeral service in the northern suburbs today.

The service took place in Glencoe. Dan Aykroyd and Eugene Levy were there, along with Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Senator Dick Durbin.

Ramis died early Monday morning from complications from a rare condition.

Fans will also get the chance to pay tribute to the late director and actor. The family has said it will schedule a public memorial in the Spring.
