High winds have already caused some damage.

50-mile per hour winds blew off a window from the third floor of the Macy’s at Water Tower Place Thursday night.

The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. at 835 North Michigan Avenue, prompting police to block several lanes of traffic on Michigan .

No one was hurt.

Winds also knocked down some power lines on the city’s North Side, but those were fixed.

There are also flood warnings for the DuPage and Des Plaines rivers, because of Thursday’s rain and three days of melting snow.
