The city is moving forward with the redevelopment project of Children’s Memorial Hospital in Lincoln Park.

The $350-million plan will turn the old hospital into condos and stores near the six-way intersection of Fullerton, Lincoln and Halsted.

The twin 21-story buildings are the centerpieces of the plan.

Some people are against the plan saying that it will lead to traffic congestion and cast shadows over nearby homes.

But the city’s plan commission voted unanimously to move forward.
