Three more men have filed sexual abuse lawsuits against the Chicago Archdiocese.

All three claim they were molested by former priest Daniel McCormack when they played on the basketball team at Our Lady of the Westside School a decade ago.

The lawsuit also accuses the Archdiocese of knowingly letting McCormack work unsupervised with children after it knew there were serious allegations against him.

McCormack went to prison in 2007.

This morning, the Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests issued a statement: “We are deeply saddened each time we hear about more kids who were sexually assaulted by this prolific predator who was repeatedly given free passes and second chances by Cardinal Francis George and his top deputies.”

Seems that these Lawyers keep coming out of the garbage can with new victims from very long ago. I guess they need the cash. We need to stop these suits already. Let the church begin to heal and fix itself. Lawyers, some of us need the church.
