Two boys rescued an elderly woman who got stranded in the blistering, blowing snow.

Mary Iler was outside preparing for the winter storm when she fell down her ramp.

It happened in Colfax, Illinois, which is near Bloomington.

After being stuck in the snow for more than 30 minutes, she heard her neighbors and called for help.

That’s when two brothers came to her rescue.

They found her face down in the snow and the snow was covering her.

Iler was taken to the hospital with frostbitten fingers and a blood-clotted leg that required surgery.

Her daughters hope she can leave the hospital soon.

I was touched by the story of the two young men who helped their elderly neighbor. They saved her life. This is a lesson for us all to follow the scriptural teaching to Love our neighbors as we love ourselves.

very proud father here but they don't consider themselves hero's. They just did the right thing . showing there is still compassion in the world
