UIC issues warning after students robbed

Students on the campus of UIC are being warned to be on alert after two students were robbed in less than a week.

Wednesday, a thief grabbed a student’s cell phone and id in the 1200 block of West Flournoy.

A second person knocked the student to the ground and then both suspects ran off.

Another UIC student was attacked Saturday morning in the 600 block of West Roosevelt.

The student was threatened with a weapon and his laptop was stolen.

UIC police say similar robberies also occurred last September and October.

    It will only get worse in the gun free zones.Every criminal will target these gun free zones because the know no CCW will be in the area.

    You victims can thank your politicians for putting you in harms way . Remember the one’s who put you in harms way at election time. God bless our Constitutional rights.
