State Treasurer Dan Rutherford will not release the findings of an independent investigation into sexual harassment allegations.

It was supposed to come out Friday.

Sources on the treasurer’s campaign for governor confirm to WGN that it will not be released– due to a pending federal lawsuit.

Earlier this week, a former top deputy in the treasurer’s office sued, claiming Rutherford made unwanted sexual advances and pressured him to do political work on government time.
