A moment of reflection will be held Friday to mark the sixth anniversary of the deadly shooting at Northern Illinois University.

Five students were killed inside a lecture hall on Valentine’s Day in 2008. Twenty-one other people were hurt before the shooter took his life.

Friday’s events will include the ringing of five bells at 3:06 p.m. to mark the exact moment of the shooting.

The lecture hall where it happened was renovated and has reopened.
