Nearly 9 million pounds of meat is being recalled by a company in Northern California.

The USDA says the Rancho Feeding Corporation processed diseased and unsound animals, that weren’t properly inspected.

The recall includes a wide variety of beef and veal products that were delivered to four states, including Illinois.

All of these were produced and shipped between January 1, 2013, through January 7, 2014.  They all have “EST. 527” in the USDA mark of inspection, and have a case code number ending in 3 or 4.

There have not been any reports of people getting sick.

Disgusting! Move to Europe, people! The governments there actually hold corporations accountable for their actions, especially if harm is done to the public.
