Three car accident sends eight people to area hospitals

Eight people were injured, four critically, after a three car crash in the Archer Heights neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

Chicago Police New Affairs says, “Paramedics responded to the crash near the corner of Archer Avenue and Keeler Avenue around 4:45 a.m.”

Eight people were taken to area hospitals and three more people refused medical treatment.

One car rolled over and was occupied by four adults all of whom were transported in area hospitals in critical condition.

Another car involved in the accident was occupied by four people, which included three children and one adult.  The occupants, a mother and three children, were transported to Holy Cross Hospital with minor injuries.

The people in the third car refused medical treatment.  Police are investigating the accident.
