Texas shooting suspect caught in Chicago

Jaqwa Ross was caught in Chicago after authorities in Texas issued a warrant for his arrest in connection with a shooting there last month.

Toss is accused of a critically wounding an 18-year-old man during a shooting at a Super 8 motel.

Authorities say he fled his home in Texas after the incident. He’s charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Ross is being held here on $500,000 bond and is awaiting extradition.
