Donna’s Super Bowl Suggestions:

DIY Football Bingo
It’s fun and easy to get little players in the game with magnetic football B-I-N-G-O!!  Easy and fun to make with cookie sheets. Magnet pieces work great. Look for a penalty flag, a time out — whatever marks you spot, fill your row and you WIN!

Create Some Spirit
There are so many fun ways to create spirit with hats from, cups, game face masks which you can make or buy, but look for ways to keep little hands busy. Let them paint the dog with pet paint — create their own little mascot or get clever with your favorite team’s duct tape.

Super Bowl Karaoke
Set up the karaoke machine with all the fun songs that remind us all of football –  like the Super Bowl Shuffle. In our house it’s the Pittsburgh Polka. If you don’t have a karaoke machine — make your own with post board and makers — just write down the lyrics to those favorite football songs and lead the kids in FUN.

Rate the commercials
Rate the commercials, even take bets on which favorite advertiser will have the best one!

Let the kids videotape their own commercials. Easy to do with a video camera, even IPhone.

Put On Your Game Face, And Smile!
According to Evite — game day photo booths will be most popular at Superbowl Parties this year. You can of course rent these for the day, or make your own!

Lap it up with DIY Football Dinner Trays.
These trays are easy and fun to make. Use baking trays or even old cafeteria trays add a bit of artificial grass, non toxic paint for field markings even dowel rods or straws for goal posts and you’ll score! Have the kids assemble their own, or make before hand.

Throw a Tailgate —Inside.
Grill in the living room — easy to do with a George Forman grill. Even give the kids license plates or have them make their own.

Find Simple Ways To Make food FUN
A couple shakes of food coloring turns popcorn your favorite team’s color!
