Metra is warning of possible delays Monday morning.

The agency says temperatures will force trains to slow down to prevent damage to the tracks.

Amtrak service to Chicago will also be reduced tomorrow. They have canceled several trains already.  The modified schedules will affect Amtrak’s Chicago Hub service as some trains will be canceled on a precautionary basis to maintain service on all routes.  Passengers are asked to use caution on their way to and from stations and to also expect delays on Monday.
